Aerospace Production Supervisor

Lead hourly production teams to safety, quality and schedule targets in an aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a production team across assigned shifts
  • Own safety, quality, delivery and cost performance for the area
  • Run tiered meetings, visual management and daily accountability
  • Coordinate with quality on nonconformance and containment
  • Manage staffing, training and cross-training plans
  • Drive continuous improvement with the team

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years in aerospace or precision manufacturing, including 2+ years leading teams
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and shop-floor quality controls
  • Strong coaching, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with production scheduling and labor planning
  • Ability to work varied shifts to support the operation

Preferred certifications

Lean manufacturing certification
Six Sigma Green Belt
OSHA 30
AS9100 internal auditor
