RF Engineer

Design, test and integrate RF and communications subsystems for aerospace platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and analyse RF circuits, antennas and transmission lines
  • Run simulation and bench characterization of RF subsystems
  • Perform EMC/EMI testing and mitigation
  • Support integration of RF payloads onto platforms
  • Document test results and design verification evidence
  • Coordinate with systems, mechanical and manufacturing teams

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of RF design or test engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or RF engineering
  • Experience with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and signal generators
  • Understanding of link budgets, impedance matching and EMC principles
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance if required by a future assignment

Preferred certifications

iNARTE EMC Engineer
Six Sigma Green Belt
DoD RF safety training
PMP
