Define, integrate and verify complex aerospace and defense system requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Elicit and derive system requirements from customer and mission needs
  • Define architecture, interfaces and requirement traceability
  • Develop verification and validation plans and test objectives
  • Support integration, test and anomaly resolution
  • Manage requirement baselines and change impact
  • Coordinate across engineering disciplines and suppliers

Required qualifications

  • 4+ years of systems engineering experience in aerospace, defense or complex hardware programs
  • Bachelor's degree in systems, aerospace, electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience with requirements management tools and traceability
  • Familiarity with verification methods and configuration control
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance if required by a future assignment

Preferred certifications

INCOSE ASEP / CSEP
PMP
DO-178 / DO-254 awareness training
Six Sigma Green Belt
