Electrical Assembly Technician

Assemble and wire electrical panels, control boxes and harness assemblies to specification.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical panels, control boxes and cable assemblies
  • Crimp, solder and terminate connectors per workmanship standards
  • Route and lace wiring to drawing requirements
  • Perform continuity, resistance and functional checks
  • Record build data and serial traceability
  • Identify and escalate documentation discrepancies

Required qualifications

  • 2+ years of electrical assembly or harness fabrication experience
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and work instructions
  • Comfort with hand tools, crimpers and soldering equipment
  • High attention to detail and workmanship standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred

Preferred certifications

IPC-A-620
J-STD-001 soldering
ESD handler certification
Lean / 5S training
Certifications are recorded as self-reported until verified documentation is reviewed.

2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
