Mechanical Engineer

Design, analyse and support mechanical systems and hardware for aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical designs, models and drawings using CAD
  • Perform tolerance stack-up, hand calculations and design reviews
  • Select materials and finishes for aerospace environments
  • Support build, test and failure investigations
  • Release engineering documentation under configuration control
  • Coordinate design changes across manufacturing and quality

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of mechanical design or sustaining engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD and drawing standards including GD&T
  • Experience with configuration control and change management
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills

Preferred certifications

EIT / PE
GD&T certification
Six Sigma Green Belt
AS9100 awareness training
Certifications are recorded as self-reported until verified documentation is reviewed.
