Own manufacturing processes, tooling and continuous improvement for aerospace production lines.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions and process controls
  • Lead root cause and corrective action for production defects
  • Specify tooling, fixtures and equipment requirements
  • Drive cycle-time, yield and first-pass quality improvement
  • Support new product introduction and rate readiness
  • Evaluate process changes for safety, quality and cost impact

Required qualifications

  • 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense or precision manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial or aerospace engineering
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP or equivalent controlled processes
  • Experience with statistical process control and root cause methods
  • Ability to work directly with technicians on the floor

Preferred certifications

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
AS9100 internal auditor
Lean manufacturing certification
PMP
Certifications are recorded as self-reported until verified documentation is reviewed.
