Aerospace Composite Technician

Lay up, cure, trim and bond advanced composite structures and components.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform ply cutting, layup and vacuum bagging to ply-book requirements
  • Support cure cycles and record process parameters
  • Trim, drill and finish cured composite parts
  • Perform adhesive bonding and surface preparation
  • Identify and document voids, delamination and porosity
  • Maintain cleanroom discipline, material shelf-life and lot traceability

Required qualifications

  • 2+ years of composite layup or bonding experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing
  • Ability to read ply books, planning and engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with vacuum bagging and cure processes
  • Careful documentation and material handling habits
  • Comfort working with resins, solvents and PPE requirements

Preferred certifications

Composite fabrication training
Bonding and sealing certification
NDT Level I
Lean / 5S training
Certifications are recorded as self-reported until verified documentation is reviewed.

2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Program location is Montgomery, Alabama. Exact work sites are confirmed only with an authorized employer requisition.
